What we take care of, and what it costs
Prices below are what most yards in Haymarket, Gainesville, and Bristow pay. We confirm the number at the free cut, before you owe anything.
Weekly mowing
March through November, same day every week. We cut at three and a half inches in spring and raise to four in July so the roots stay shaded. Trim around beds, posts, and play sets, edge the driveway and walks, then blow everything clean.

Spring and fall planting, plus mulch
We plant twice a year. April for annuals and perennials, October for shrubs and bulbs so roots settle before the ground hardens. Mulch goes down at three inches, pulled back off the trunks, with beds edged by hand rather than sprayed.

Aeration and overseeding
Every September, before the nights cool off. We pull cores two to three inches deep, spread a tall fescue blend that holds up to Virginia clay and August heat, then follow with starter fertilizer. Two weeks of watering from you and the lawn thickens by October.

Leaf cleanup
Two passes in November, hauled off site. Priced by lot size.
Shrub trimming
Boxwood, holly, azalea. Once in June, once in early September.
Bed edging
Fresh spade cut edge around beds and trees. Holds its line all season.

Straight answers
Is the first cut really free?
Yes, one full service cut at no charge for any new residential customer in our area. No card, no deposit.
What happens when it rains?
We will reschedule you to the next available day/time, usually within a day or two.
Do I need a contract?
No. Weekly service is month to month and you can stop with a phone call.
How do I pay?
Invoice on the first of the month, card or check. Same price whether it is a four week or five week month.
